I studied medicine as an undergraduate at the University of Dundee, where I also undertook an intercalated degree in Pharmacology. I completed higher medical training in Acute Medicine in the north east and Cumbria and now work as an Acute Medicine Consultant in both the Cumberland Infirmary and West Cumberland Hospital.
I have interests in ambulatory care and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education. I'm associated with Newcastle University regarding undergraduate medical education in the capacity of Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer and Associate Clinical Sub-Dean.
I really enjoy teaching others within my area of expertise.
