We measure how well we’re doing by listening to feedback from patients, staff and regulators.
Care Quality Commission (CQC)
The CQC regularly check and inspect our services to see how we’re getting on. The CQC are an independent regulator of health and social care in England.
After each inspection, the CQC publishes a report about us. This report includes a rating on how well we’re delivering each of our services. These ratings are based on 5 Key Lines of Enquiry:
- safe
- effective
- caring
- responsive
- well led
Ratings
The CQC also give us a rating on how well led our Trust is overall. The different ratings for the inspection are:
- outstanding - the service is performing exceptionally well
- good - the service is performing well and meeting their expectations
- requires improvement - the service is not performing as well as it should
- inadequate - the service is performing badly
We’re working towards achieving a rating of ‘good’ for all our services at our next inspection.
