Professional background

I am a Consultant Anaesthetist working across surgical specialities and obstetric (relating to childbirth) anaesthesia in the Trust.

I have a clinical leadership role in patient safety within the Specialist Care Group. I have a particular interest in this area and in quality improvement, to provide safe and effective care for all our patients.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I really enjoy the variety of clinical work within my role as an anaesthetist, caring for patients of all ages. I also love the variety that my role in patient safety and quality improvement brings.

Which of our values is most important to you?

Collaboration. I absolutely believe in the benefits of working together as a multi-disciplinary, multi-professional team with our patients to provide safe, effective care.
