I have been a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care for over 18 years.
For many years I spent half my time anaesthetising in theatres with a major interest in head and neck, and ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgery. The other half was looking after patients in our intensive care unit.
I now spend all of my time looking after intensive care patients.
Helping patients and their families through what is an extremely difficult part of their lives.
