There are unisex toilets with baby changing facilities.

There are toys available in the waiting area by the Nurse Led Treatment Centre.

If you’re visiting the Day Unit, there is a shared freeview TV for patients.

Alston Community Hospital is a smoke free site. This means there’s no smoking allowed anywhere on the property. This includes outside entrances and in our car parks and grounds. The smoking ban applies to everyone.

If you’re day patient, you can get a temporary nicotine replacement. You can also use e-cigarettes and vapes outside the hospital, if you stand 10 metres away from the building.
