There are 10 car parks at West Cumberland Hospital. Car park 1, located at the rear, and Car Park 10, located near the main entrance, are for disabled patients and visitors. There’s also a drop off point outside the main entrance.
 

Charges

Parking for blue badge holders is free. All other patients and visitors must pay on arrival at a payment machine. The machines accept 5p, 10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins. Some machines also accept debit and credit cards.

Allow plenty of time for your visit. Although you have a designated time for your appointment, you might have to wait.

  • up to 3 hours 30 mins costs £3
  • up to 24 hours costs £5

Visitors can also buy a 1 week or a 1 month parking permit from the Cashiers Window. This is located on the ground floor of the old hospital building, next to WH Smith. The Cashiers Window is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm and 1.45pm to 3.15pm.
